Why Should Students Be Involved in School Decision-Making?

Democratic systems allow different people to voice their opinions and to participate in decision-making processes. At Beverly High School, like other American secondary schools, individual students have some, if limited, input in school decision-making. The opportunities they do have come largely in the form of student government. Panther News posed two crucial questions to current BHS students to hear their thoughts about student involvement in decision-making here at BHS.
