Beverly Athlete Jimenez Looks Back at High School Soccer Career

The BHS Varsity Girls Soccer team is charging into the playoffs with a sterling record of 8-4-5.

Beverly Senior Bella Jimenez is taking it all in.

“Going into playoff season, I look forward to playing with my team one last time, but also competing against the best teams in the state,” said BHS Senior Bella Jimenez.

Their excellent record has earned 24th place in the MIAA power rankings.

Jimenez attributes the Panther girls’ success to maintaining “communication on and off the field.”

“We have been getting better with positive encouragement for one another,” Jimenez said. “Pasta parties have been a strong factor too, especially as it is a time for us to come together as a team”.

Jimenez is thinking beyond rankings.

“I want to be a role model for the underclassmen and set a good example as a player and friend,” Jimenez said. “I’m hoping to leave this team with a sense of humor, but also seriousness when it comes to playing and practice.”
